John P. O’Hara is the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Partnerships at
IronNet Cybersecurity, Inc. In this role, John is responsible for evaluating and executing all
corporate investments, mergers and acquisitions as well as formulating strategic alliances and
partnerships.
Prior to joining IronNet, John was a Vice President, Strategic Development at Comcast
Corporation. At Comcast, he was responsible for ideation, incubation, and commercialization of
new lines of business through investment and mergers and acquisition. During his time at
Comcast, John held board positions at BitSight Technologies, StratIS IoT, Inc., BluVector
Cybersecurity and Quil Healthcare.
John started his corporate career with Goldman, Sachs and Co. as an investment banker and later
with the investment management division. Prior to transitioning to the corporate world, John
served as a Navy Pilot, conducting multiple operational deployments in the Middle East and Asia Pacific regions.
John is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science Degree,
majoring in Economics. He holds a master’s in business administration from Georgetown
University.
