Michael Donohue

Chief Marketing Officer

Michael brings more than 30 years of marketing, sales, product management and leadership experience to his position as Chief Marketing Officer of IronNet, Inc. In this role, he is responsible for the company’s go-to-market strategy which includes targeting, pipeline growth, demand generation, messaging, public relations and overall brand awareness.

With a strong background in both B2B and B2C marketing, Michael is an expert in developing and marketing SaaS, IaaS, ProServe and Cloud solutions. He has held numerous leadership positions, most recently as the CMO of ClearDATA where he transformed the marketing organization from a cost center to a predictable revenue-generating machine. Prior to ClearDATA, Michael was the CEO at Axial Exchange and the CMO at MedAssets, where he was instrumental in its sale to Vizient for $3.2B. Michael also brings senior executive experience from a wide range of industry leading companies such as J&J, P&G, D&B and Allscripts.

Michael holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the Robins School of Business at The University of Richmond. He lives in Cary, NC, with his wife, Heidi, and their three children.
